I went to the Memphis temple this past Sat to take out my endowment. There were a lot of obstacles we faced that tried to keep us home.
My beautiful escort was my best friend Veda. Veda and her MIL Linda Charlton made it REALLY happen. Linda lives by a distribution center so she was able to go and pick up the needed items and ship them to Arkansas! A new Convert Sister Smith was able to go to the temple to do some temple work for the first time. We both had a special day.
The temple was beautiful. It is a shame there is not one closer. I'm grateful it is only 3 hours away, bc it could be more
